My earlier post in this thread said "in no particular order" as to the best...but if I had to choose, it'd be Delta.
One never even knows who is a Delta Operator. Unless they choose to let it be known.

Do you want a jack of all trades or a very specialized unit? There are groups that specialize in close surveillance. They wouldn't be much use in a firefight but they can get within arms length and place a tracking device on you without you realizing it. I wouldn't mess with the Norwegian LRRP on their home turf above the Arctic Circle. The Danish Frogman Corps has one of, if not the most difficult selection course in the world. The Australian SAS are the consensus masters of fieldcraft. But none of those guys can arrive on the other side of the world loaded for bear in 12 hours. Discussions like this are pretty meaningless. For the most part it's apples and oranges.
