I think the RE market has slowed a touch but it isn't overvalued as the population has structurally grown in that time period to support the price expansion.

DFW has been booming for way more than 6 years. You could argue they’ve been growing since the early to mid 2000’s.

I briefly changed my status on linkedin and Indeed to indicate that I was interested in new job opportunities.

I live in Baton Rouge but for some reason most of the jobs I was approached about were in the DFW area. I didnt even put that as a place i was willing to relocate to.

They seem to have moved more positions there than they can fill which is kinda nuts considering how many white collar folks have already moved.

The job growth in DFW and Texas has been nothing short of amazing. I feel like everyone is eventually going to live there.

I live in Frisco. The growth here is unmanageable. The roads can’t be expanded fast enough and every restaurant that opens has a 30-45 minute wait after 6:30 pm. I love living here but the past year has just been a kick in the chest with the influx of people.

This is some hyperbole if I ever read any.

Texas has its faults, but I'm impressed with vision with focus on infrastructure to accommodate the growth.

While the housing market is impressive, everything else is adapting. Medical Care in Collin county is nothing short of amazing, unprecedented in many regards. You currently have 2 major trauma centers with 2 more currently in active persuit. Along with that, highest level of NICU and stroke/ CVICU capability.

Public schools are top notch as well.

Frisco is the beneficiary of the Billion Dollar Row that sits in West Plano. Without that expansion, Frisco is a shadow of what it is today.

Why do you think those companies picked that area? Without the northern sprawl of Dallas, Plano isn’t shite either. The tollway is the real reason you’re looking for. Just look at prosper now. Similar to the expansion of 75 from Allen/McKinney all the way to the north. McKinney has blown up and melissa/Anna are next.

I think you are confused with Uptown.

You are confusing Uptown Dallas with the north Dallas suburbs. Nice try though

I was telling my brother the other day when he visited for the LSU/Miami game that the return on investment with the DNT is unimaginable. It single-handedly opened up the northern corridor on the western side.

Pretentious, yeah, but there’s a lot of money in uptown and highland park is right there.

Highland Park, sure. Uptown is hard to get a grip on who has their own money and who lives off mom and dad. It's a fancy area for recent grads and it excels at that...hence the $30K millionaires saying.

I guess you are still correct that the area has access to a lot of cash since mom and dad are the bank.
