See that's how I always went about picking up women. I never did any of that pick up artist shite that some guys do. I just shot the shite with them and eventually would give them my number.

Doing that even worked with a stripper a few years ago. Was there on a weeknight (this bar had dollar beers on some nights) where it was slow and went back to her place with her. She said I was like the only guy there who just talked to her like a normal person and I guess she liked that. I'm also able to make fun of myself too sk that also helps too.

She actually ended up giving me some of the best advice I've ever gotten in regards to women too.

- While the last one is true, I've been avoiding those situations successfully

I've posted the past few girls I've dated, and they'd be considered successful by anyone's standards. As long as they're not ugly, I date girls whose lives I find interesting and personalities work well with mine.

Eta: I was encouraged by my current gf to contact a past gf to find out how her research was going. It is interesting, unique, and I'd say groundbreaking in that field

She was just going through a bad time in her life and stripping was the best way for her to earn extra cash.

I couldn't imagine many scenarios that would be worse than you walk into a strip club to see some titties and there is your sister on the pole.

I've been doing the 'meet for a cup of coffee' thing lately without a lot of luck. I'm like 0-4. I quit drinking a couple of years ago so that limits my exposure to new woman. I also work from home right now. Anyway, i haven't died yet from asking women for a cup of coffee so at least I'm building my nerve up. I do exactly what he said above, that I'd kick myself if I didn't at least try so I just ask them for number or coffee. Maybe my next one will be lucky #5.

Real talk. Don't use a cheesy fricking line. Just be up front and honest. "Hi I think you're really pretty and would like to message you sometime"

As for getting turned down, never had it happen personally, but I hear it's non fatal.

Maybe...but its highly effective. Eliminates that weird moment when you are fumbling for your phone and unlocking it. It more or less easier for the girl.

Like I said though, im not a pickup guru and im no kingslayer of poon. Ive learned the hard way and definitely have made myself out to be a fool...sometimes with an audience

One time I was getting a permit or something and this cute girl was working the desk. She was very cute and friendly. I figured what the hell
and doubled back to ask her out. She just flat out, coldly said no right away. No “im seeing someone” or other nicety. I got coldly slapped down with 3-4 people right there. It sucked but the sun still shone and I didnt get cancer AIDS.
