Get a cheap foam mattress from Amazon and with the $$ you save buy an 8 sleep system.
The Pod 4 has been amazing. I didn't get the setup that raises and lowers the bed, just the one with autopilot.

We have a Purple Hybrid 3 and it's the best. I have heard some people disliking the grid on it, but I can't tell when I have sheets on. I would recommend finding a store that has one and giving it a try. It's a hybrid mattress with pocket coils.
Most mattress in a box companies will give you a trial on using them. I think Purple is 100 days. It would be an absolute PITA to send back.
Check out DreamCloud. They are higher end Nectar mattresses and I believe the same company.

I recently bought a Helix, Midnight Luxe mattress, and it might be my favorite thing I own. I didn’t think I was sleeping poorly before, but now I’m frequently oversleeping, my back feels better, and I wake up with drool all over my face.

bought a new "medium firm" memory foam mattress a year or two ago that feels so uncomfortably firm to me that I bought a 3-inch topper for it. My wife has always maintained that the bed feels soft.
We bought one of those over marketed deliver in a box memory foam mattresses years ago and it was okay but was like seeping on a sponge. We upgraded to a king and went to shop for a new mattress on Labor Day.
First of all, all of those sale prices are on shite you lay on and don’t want. Secondly, when the sales guy gets you and your wife to lay on the high end stuff it’s a noticeable difference. It’s a done deal. He’s smiling at you while she rolls around on the Stearns and Foster Estate Deluxe with the European Pillow top with cooling “technology”.
I’m 53 and have the means so basically said why not and it was a great decision. I sleep better and my back is much better than it was when I was up.
TL/DR. You get what you pay for.

Seeing this posted right under a story about Onlyfans, I’d say the one without the stain.

We bought some shite mattress. Threw a really nice mattress pad on it and it’s awesome.

Tempurpedic Luxe Breeze with an adjustable base.
Had this for 9 years now and still love our bed. I need to use the adjustable base more, so like someone said earlier I wish I had gotten the split mattress.

Brooklyn Bedding Best Matress Ever.
It's actually called that.
Fantastic.
Though I do think they make them different now.
Look up sleeplikethedead.com and read reviews

She went to bed with dirty feet.....
I have had Talalay latex foam mattress for 20 years and still love it.
When you order you can specify which 3 layers you want based on firmness.
I recommend a firm interior layer and medium firm exterior layers.
Spouse has a Stern & Foster that is very soft and comfy.

Another vote for Stearns and Foster.

I've had a Nectar mattress for 2ish years now and I love it.

I have a Serta iComfort, going on year 3.
The wife and I both hate it. And will be replacing soon.
