The Golden Nugget is nice, but there are some interesting sights on the street. A lot more people there trying to hustle people to pay them for pictures. On the Strip there are people who are dressed like different characters, but all you have to do is not make eye contact with them.

On Freemont you got all kind of different people doing some type of entertainment trying to hustle you for money.

Thread would have been a loss without your advice to not do drugs in the bathroom of the club that you didn't remember going to.

Bowling and then going home to sleep in my own bed sounds a lot more fun than this potential weekend from sausage fest hell.

If your flight going home is at 7AM. You will be leaving the hotel around 5:45ish AM.. You might get to see a few walk of shames on the way out.

This is the NonStop Southwest flight...take this every trip.
Not as bad as others are indicating. This is the only Sunday morning nonstop flight from LAS to MSY.

I leave New Orleans on the 830 southwest flight everytime i can. As long you can function to make the flight it is so much better. Getting home in the AM is worth it

lyft is $8.45 for anywhere around the strip

A 24 hr pass on the monorail is $13. For 24 hrs you can just hop on and go from one end of the strip to the next all you want. Two rides with Lyft will cost you more.

You want to be fresh and on the scene right? You don't want that fricking Pirates of the Carribean or the Rock and Roll grunge tip.

We land Thursday morning @7am and depart 7am Sunday morning.
We all attended LSU together.
We will be (attempting to) gamble/party on a budget

They are not going to be in their rooms too much, but damn.. 6 people in one room. That is going to be a little tight. You could probably get 3 rooms at the Flamingo for the same price as 2 rooms at Caesars, which is right across the street from each other.

Flamingo isn't the Bellagio or Venetian... Or even the Mirage.. Maybe not even Treasure Island, but the rooms have a bed and a bathroom and it's not dirty.

FYI: The best sportsbook room on the strip IMO is at the Cosmopolitan.

Dont stay at Caesars. I love Caesars, but I would rather stay somewhere like linq and have more rooms. 2 rooms is not whats up for 12 people.

Shouls be able to get passes for various night clubs. Talk to a promoter to get you on a list.
