Looking to start taking some jiu jitsu classes. Where do y'all recommend for the Baton Rouge area?
Thanks.

I've seen Gracie United's god awful gawdy truck driving around, you could probably start by going to someone with more tact than that.

Isn't there a UFC Gym next to Jubans. Going out on a limb here and assuming that MIGHT be a good place to learn the most effective of the MMAs.

he's trying to learn jiu jitsu. Maybe he's in the matrix. I just gave him a little deja vu to let him know.

Why fight on your back when you can fight on your feet?

UFC gym on Sherwood or Acadian Thruway. I went there for a while. Experienced people and they were in good shape which is a plus for me in a gym. Some of these martial arts places have nothing but a bunch of fat out of shape slobs.

Because one is a sport/workout and the shite you learned is to kill someone?

1. I've always enjoyed watching it.
2. I want to keep my few remaining brain cells.

Tonny Canales @ UFC gym - QUALITY blackbelt instructor. he teaches at a few different places as well
Nick Long @ Glory Martial Arts - Brown belt
Josh Mancuso @ LA Boxing, I think hes affiliated with Tim Credeur and the BJJ Revolution team.
You're welcome
