Best Houston hotel for nightlife

whats the best hotel in Houston to stay for a wkd within walking distance of the best bars/nightlife, mid to upper 20's crowd.

Eta: catching a mariners game In May @ minute maid

Find something on the rail line. You're not going to find something in Houston that encourages walking.

My vote as well.

Cool hotel bar too. If you want a cocktail before going out and being a hipster. OKRA Charity Saloon is a nice place across the street. 8-10 draft beers and they make very good cocktails. You will see ages 22-42 in there,

I will be in Houston for two nights coming up. If I have to drive the work truck im screwed. Trying to make it to where I can drive my personal.

I usually to Magnolia when I'm down there, pretty much right behind Flying Saucer.

The few times I have been there for work we always stay at the Doubletree downtown. Nice hotel and close enough to everything.
