Agreed. At the very least, it probably showed a real inability to read the situation and the room for an initial job interview.

You want to be that guy with non conservative socks, fine, but at least have the wisdom not to do it with your first impression or risk the consequences.

Viccel. Over the calf is the only way to go to have them not fall.

Can’t stress that enough. Socks are just an accent piece. The suit and shirt are what draw the most attention

I’m guessing you’re also anti long hair and beards too?

In my field (tech), people don’t care about shite like that.
