Definite +1...this is what me and my friends did...we went in together and got kicked out together after throwing a kegger in the whole section during finals week in spring of either 99 or 00.

I definitely recommend staying in a dorm your first year. I did it when I was freshman 2 years ago. I stayed in Kirby and loved it even though that's probably the worst one. Do it and don't regret not doing it.

I stayed at Annie Boyd freshman year. Was nice since it is kinda in the middle of campus. Coed dorm too

I lived in Blake, and it was not nearly as fun as I had expected. Was on an all guys floor with a bunch of weird arse dudes and literally all of the girls that were in Blake were the prude type that never went out. My vision of drunk bitches roaming the halls everywhere was not fulfilled

If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Herget and sacrifice the extra cleanliness that I got at Blake. I still managed to have a good time though, just at friend's apartments, so frick it.

nah, it's true, we didn't give a crap.

It's probably changed a lot from when I went through though. Same freedom, but the prissy bitches living in there now appear to have air conditioning. Years ago, it was just understood that you did not walk or look into a room in the month of August, because chances were high the occupant was naked because it was roasting outside.

Though little was worse than the random warm spell in February when the antiquated heating system was still pumping out heat like it was 30 degrees, when it was really 70 outside.

Probably have kitchenettes in every section now too.

I think we had some bitch arse RA's when I worked there. Like you said 90% of the time they just pencil whipped the paper work and called it good.

However, the one time a female RA walks on the 3rd floor of our section at 2:30AM during finals week and sees a dude doing a keg stand every occupant in the section was done after that semester. We were all moving to apartments anyway but still.....she could have came and just did a keg stand herself and let it ride.
