Buddy picked up 2015 Ranger RT188 bass boat with 115 hp 4 stroke motor for $9500. He purchased it from a recent widow who was fully aware of the boat's value, said she needed it gone asap as it reminded her of her deceased husband. Boat is probably worth $20k

2003 Chevy 1500. Bought it for $500 because it wouldn't start and the owner didn't wanna to spend the money to fix it.
Put an alternator and a new battery in it. Have put 40k miles on it with no problems.
Runs like a top, and the a/c is still cold.

A few years ago I bought some Jeep Rubicon wheels and tires on Craigslist for $400. The tires had like 30 miles on them. Would have cost me like $1600 to buy new

The Rubicon rims are a little valuable, but the stock tires are a dime a dozen and can barely give them away.
