I struggle to think of a finer bridge in our fair state. Probably because it's the newest and is never used

It’s definitely not the fricking best but it will be the most famous one of these days because it’s going to collapse during rush hour.

Name the bridge.

Yup, it's best when you're leaving new orleans.

Typical Louisiana. Let’s build a bridge for a random road and leave the I-10 bridges in Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, etc from the era of OK Allen and Huey/Earl the same.
you must not know anything about the history of that bridge.

When the money was being appropriated for that bridge no one around BR wanted it.

Not best I'm sure, but my choice is what I spent countless hours on. It seems to be called the Hwy 407 bridge over the intercostal heading to English Turn. Love that bridge.

Lemme guess, this wins by virtue of being the newest major bridge?

haha damn I haven't seen that one yet. May have to take a few minutes to hit it up next time I'm over that way.

Its just a beautiful bridge situated in a tranquil setting providing a very enjoyable river crossing.

We don't age discriminate here.

That image of the Gramercy bridge is well over a decade old. It has been interconnected to 3127 on the west bank for a long time. It gets a good bit of traffic due to the industry in the area. Not to mention when ships like to hit the sunshine bridge.

Not gonna name it, but every time I drive over it I always think of The Mothman Prophecies movie.

This one isn't in the running for best in the state, but the I-210 bridge has lights now.

I got to go up the elevator to the top of one of the pillars 2011 when I was a student worker at LTRC. Pretty incredible view. Can see all of False River and the Baton Rouge skyline and Tiger Stadium.

That is really cool, that whole drive down Hwy 1 and the Morganza area is really cool. One day if I have time I would like to come down from Natchez area using Highway 15 along the river.

My only gripe about the Audubon Bridge is that it should have been named the Barrow-LeJeune Bridge.

I figure you’re just joking, but that bridge really has nothing to distinguish it from the sunshine, Horace Wilkinson, and the I-20 bridge. They are just your run of the mill cantilever bridge.

Best Bridge in Louisiana

This is nothing more than an unofficial opinion until TulaneLSU releases his Top Ten List.
