Same as my Grand Cherokee. PAC makes a T harnesses that is around $50 that you can use. Run from the T harnesses to an LOC then the amp.

As an old bass head I've gotten addicted to watching old amps getting put on Amp dynos. It's hilarious to see just how false the ratings where on most stuff back in the day

What's a quality Loc these days?

Depends on what you want. A DSP would be the best. If you don’t want a full on DSP, look at the Kicker Key systems…either the KEYLOC or the Key amps. If neither of those, Audio Control LC series for basic bass restoration.
To be honest, you probably don’t neeeed an LOC as most amps have high level inputs now. Only need the LOC to restore/flatten signal.

Same here, love the Williston audio stuff. Just bought a Nakamichi amp I saw he dyno’d and was 800w. Bought off woot.com for $40…no plans for it tbh.

What was the name of the place on veterans next to taco Tico? They used to pimp jl audio in the 90s/2000s
Cash money used to have a studio right around the corner.

I had 3 10" JL Audio w6's on a JL amp and also JL highs all around on a separate JL amp. That was the cleanest system I ever heard and those 10s absolutely banged.

I have 10 JL speakers in my boat. All M6 series. 1 pair 6.5s, 1 pair of 7.7's, two pair of 8.8's and dua l 10" subs. I have 4 separate JL Amps powering them. The 8.8's are bridged and the subs run off a dual mono sub amp. I had a JL head unit for the past two years and it finally went out on me a few weeks back. I was told that would happen. Last week, I installed a Fusion 670 head unit and absolutely love that thing.... Boat rocks.
Id really like to build a JL system in my Silverado. Just have not looked into that yet.

Sweet boat, what kind?
25 foot Tidewater baymax. Love the boat. Will be upgrading next spring to a 28 foot with twin 300's. Still a bay boat. I do 70% of my fishing/boating in the bay and off shore the rest. I need to get shallow and that 28 bay will still get 18".
As soon as potus can get the interest rates down so I can refi my home. LOL

Same here dick riculous! Back in the 90s you'd pay 400 bucks for an 800 watt Amp that only made 65 watts lol.
I helped my son pick out a cheap skar subwoofer system recently and was blown away at the amount of bass for the price. Hair tricks and bouncing vision for less than 1000 dollars.

Let me consult my Crutchfield catalogue that came in the mail today. I’ve already ordered some basketball shoes and a warmup suit for the Eastbay catalogue that also came today.

man that's a nice boat you got there.
college buddy and i used to fish his old man's 32' out of galveston, had a bad arse system we used to bump cruising through the harbor on our way out. Miss those days. Always made me sick filling that thing up, even though we weren't the ones paying for gas.

Salty…. I’m trying to do a minimal upgrade to a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4 door JL. I just want to plug and play front top dash speakers, roll bar speakers, and put a powered hideaway 10” sub. I do not want to cut or make any modifications to the roll bar. I will be keeping the factory HU and would like to power the speakers (minus the sub) from the HU. I have researched a bunch on Jeep forums, Crutchfield, etc with very little luck. Trying not to break the bank and plan on doing all labor / install myself and a buddy who has a lot of experience. Any suggestions?
Not a brand new Wrangler, but I just replaced the two in my rollbar and two dash speakers with a JL Audio speakers, with a Kenwood amp. I have a Rockford Fosgate amp pushing a Kicker 10” mini box in the back. Since not new, I put in a Kenwood head unit with wireless CarPlay and backup camera. It sounds clear and hits hard. It cost me around $1500 all in. I would assume yours would be way cheaper not needing a new head unit.

If you are so inclined I’d like some suggestions for my son’s truck. He wants to add a sub box to his 2013 tundra crew.
He listens to rap and country.
Definitely wants it to hit hard when called upon. There is a ported box on eBay with two 12s that is $200 that fits behind the seat. I think it requires shallow subs however.
What subs and amp do you recommend? Definitely looking better/best range.
