You’re insane to move to BR just to watch LSU sports

Not a bad place. Id rather be north of 10 though bevause of flood insurance reasons.

Coastal MS is a good choice for retirement area, especially if your a veteran

Would be one of the reasons but certainly wouldn’t let that one outweigh what appears to be strong negatives for the area.

Yeah would likely be north of I-10.

Don't.

There's really no benefit. You can order Cajun ingredients on the internet and fly in for festivals or LSU games.

Rural DS is gone - 2016 flood changed it dramatically

Crap hotels and that idiotic Pilot Truck Stop also bring it down.

It’s sad to see but inevitable with its closeness to BR

Denham Springs and most of LP is absolute garbage. One of the lamest places in the whole state. There’s only one “pro” and it’s definitely not worth the downgrade.

Well, that’s your opinion

Not even close with all the choices

Influx of shitty people has actually brought the area down - it was a great place to grow up (70’s - 90’s)

I’m sure it was great back before all the unchecked and unplanned growth.

Absolutely, but Denham also had major issues immediately following Katrina.

Correct but the locals would prefer you never mention this.

If I ever have to move back to BR I will be all up in your area. Shopping at your stores. Buying the bolts at your hardware store. Getting lottery tickets.
