Yeah, and I’ve known some who are incredibly knowledgeable, smart, and passionate but are content to toil at public defender work. Guys like King Alexander, Andrew Casanave, or Elton richey don’t make headlines but know what they’re doing and fight hard for clients. Gary Wainwright in Nola works hard and knows his stuff. But you know what they say, a good lawyer knows the law but a great lawyer knows the judge.

SFP and others, what do you think of the former US attorneys going into private practice as partners at big firms like Jim Letten, Walt Green, and guys like that?
