I see that color is purple. You see that color is purple. How do I know my purple is the same as your purple?

Ah, totally agree. This is most likely to take place in fields where rhetoric is elevated above dispassionate rationalization *cough* sociopolitics *cough*

Jesus that is harrowing to my verbal- oriented brain. I just had flashbacks to philosophy 2010 @LSU back in 1989. Freaking Dr McCaffery dude, take it easy on poor Pimp.

Logic is a part of philosophy. It has to do with how to think and form an argument. Someone doesn't know what they're talking about.

I was taught the principles of logic require a premise, assumptions stated as facts which may or may not be true but from which logical conclusions can be drawn.

If we say that everything that flies is a bird and that bats fly then logically, bats are birds. Now we know this isn’t true but based on the assumptions it is a correct logical conclusion.

I think a lot of people use the word logical when they really mean rational.

Have you ever seen movies like casino or goodfellas when someone gets their face slammed into a bar top or a table?

That’s basically exactly what i want to do to you right now.

How’s that for logical?

Logic, while interesting, was the most illogical class I took in college.
