The way this is going pretty soon cops just won't give a frick and won't respond to calls. I know I wouldn't. Next time you have a burglar, murderer coming at you, handle it yourself.

If you have a murderer coming at you, you're on your own. Most responsible adults understand this and take appropriate measures.

Don't know why I'm bothering answering. The girl wasn't shot. She was physically restrained when she didn't follow verbal instructions.

Again I guess I was taught differently. A cop gives me instructions I follow them and am respectful. If I don't obey or resist then what happens after is on me.

You call the cop a retard which is totally one of those words you liberals shouldn't say but what percentage of the poor victims demographic test below the "retard" as you say level of knowledge?

You are the true racist. You need to get your cracker white arse put in your place.

A cop is sitting down in a room. A man tells him to get out of his chair. The cop tells him to frick off. The man walks up, grabs the cop around the neck, and flips the desk sending cop sprawling to the floor. The cop reaches for his gun and shoots his attacker. Is this a justified shooting?

You can't answer the hypothetical situation? I'm asking if in the hypothetical situation... if the cop could reasonably fear for his life in a way that would authorize the use of lethal force?

But then you said this:

quote:

A cop gives me instructions I follow them and am respectful. If I don't obey or resist then what happens after is on me.

So if he shot her it would okay because of her actions?

And anyways:

quote:

Her actions do not give the cop free reign to do whatever he wants.

They both were in the wrong. It is that simple.

To answer your hypothetical, probably yes, justified. In this situation, not following instructions from a cop and/or resisting arrest, no. Two completely different situations

Supposedly he arrested the girl who filmed the ordeal because he said she mouthed off to him.

Seems a bit insane.

yes, a cop can escalate force, you cannot.

If I am bigger than you and start beating you up, you cannot shoot me. If you are a cop and I place hands on you, you can shoot me. Anyone who argues that does not get the judicial system.

If you dont lift your arms high enough and he shoots you, it's your fault?

Are you sure you're not retarded? You are literally saying the cop would have been justified in shooting this girl. Just FYI you can defend yourself from an illegal arrest even if it involves killing an officer.

I don''t think so, but you're naive if you feel cops don't have different rules to play with than we do.

I'm talking legally. We all know cops play by rules they make up in reality.

What a way to twist things. Not even close to what I said. As I stated earlier, I' out of this because of that exact way of thinking/twisting what others are trying to say. Hope those around you have a better respect for authority and following rules than you do.

This is what you said

quote:

. If I don't obey or resist then what happens after is on me.

And it's not true. Cops are supposed to be held to a standard which prevent them from murdering you.

Was the arrest of this girl legal?

No, I think you are retarded if you got that. I thought you were making a silly statement and made one to follow it. I guarantee you place hands on a cop in this day and age and there are limited witnesses you will get shot.

You can but good luck with that, likely get shot before you are even arrested. You think police always follow the law?
