Beckett Simonon - anyone on here own some of these shoes?

They make good shoes. Beware that "made to order" is BS for "We don't spend money on inventory, so we take and hold your money, gather up a bunch of orders, then start manufacturing". Wait was just over 4 months. All the while they send you stupid marketing emails about the person 'making' your shoe.

There is an off chance they have your size in stock from a return, but don't count on it.

Good choice if you aren't in a rush for a shoe. Otherwise, AE has a bunch on sale.

I just ordered some and got them in a week but still get the emails saying someone is currently cutting the leather to make my shoes. Not sure if I’m still on the list or an error on their part. Only wore twice so far, look great but still breaking in.

they do take a long arse time but they are great looking quality shoes at a great price.

Decent brand if you order from BS.

Get at DSW or whatever it is, crap shoes

I have a pair of wholecut dress shoes because I didn’t want to pay $300+ retail. They look and feel as good as any Cole Haans any Johnston and Murphy’s I own. I don’t think I would buy and wait 3-4 months to get a pair of wingtips or other fairly common dress shoes because I don’t think the BS cost/quality is any better in those than most retail brands.

For wholecuts the savings was worth it. Not so much for other styles
