Too bad the cyclist was able to walk away. Why do those fricks think traffic laws don't apply to them?

She honestly got off easy. She ran a red light, got hit by a vehicle, and walked away...

She's very lucky imo

I saw 1 vehicle make a dangerous left turn and then a truck run a red light just before the cyclist did. Seems auto drivers are no better than cyclists.

I don't care too much about bike riders...don't even care that they don't follow the traffic laws. Just pay attention to your surroundings please

2 rules for bike riders:
1) Don't force a car to slow down when they have the rightaway in order to not hit you
2) Don't force cars to change their speed or pathway, putting their own drivers in more danger, in order to get around you

Its this entrenched mentality regarding anything that might improve the quality of life and property values in an area ( and what the prosperous and most desirable cities of this nation already know) is why we cant have anything nice.
Yes the bicyclist messed up. Drivers do it all the time yet noone of the OT is calling for a purge.

The problem is that they want to be treated as both vehicles and pedestrians, and they really are neither.

I don't mind courteous cyclists who use it to commute short distances to work and do their best to never slow down traffic.

I do, however, mind the Lance Armstrong wannabes out there treating the roadways like their own personal gym where they don't mind inconveniencing anyone. There are a billion ways to exercise that don't involve slowing down traffic and creating additional hazards on the road, as if there aren't enough already.

Ironically, the bicyclists view of the truck was obscured by a vehicle turning left on a red arrow. Apparently, nobody in freakin Wyoming understands traffic laws...except for maybe the driver of the Tacoma that hit the bicyclist.

That video just made my die laughing. Dude hopped up real quick so that’s good but hope he learned his lesson.

I live in a huge biking city. They are pretty good about following traffic laws here. Every once in a while you’ll get one that thinks he owns the road. I just get close enough until he realizes I’m in an actual vehicle and it’s be a bad idea to continue trying to be a badass on a bike.

That's not true, frick drivers who run red lights....any of you frickers need to be purged.
As a cyclist.....you are a small mass around large masses....you should obey traffic laws yes, but regardless if you do or don't....you don't have a choice but to obey the laws of physics.

If a vehicle breaks the law and kills a cyclist....well, who gives a shite about any traffic laws when you're dead. You cyclists need to watch your surroundings as well as obey laws. Yes, motorists should too as the good ones do, but you are the most responsible for your safety regardless if someone else is doing something right or wrong...you can't rely on others to to watch for you. You have to be on the defensive and watch out for yourself.
