Does Margaritaville have a casino? Not sure.

Beau Rivage with Hard Rock a close second. And I'm pretty sure Margaritaville isn't open anymore, if that's the Jimmy Buffett owned place in Biloxi.

ETA apparently Margaritaville reopened last year without a casino, just a hotel.

What city is this?

My guess is that better hotels are available?

No, this is as good as it gets. Maybe The White House is better, but less casino-fun.

It reopened in the old casino Magic last year. It's a huge family entertainment center. No casino.

Is it cool? Would a 12 and 13 year old like it? Can I abandon my kids there while I go play blackjack at the Beau?

Shug...Biloxi for the last 3 years has been my go to spot for a quick getaway. As in, 3 or 4 nights just to go and play a little golf, lose a little money, eat some oysters, etc.

I stay at the White House and just drive down to the casino area. We gamble at either the Hard Rock or the Beau.

Went to Margaritaville last year for the first time. Food was surprisingly good. They also have a water park that is on the rooftop outside of one restaurant there that has full service swim up bars, etc. On one floor they have a huge arcade that includes mini bowling alleys. It was pretty neat and easy to waste time at one night. It was a pretty neat place to be honest. I think it may be one of only two resorts like that in the country. Again, not sure. But its a hotel, water park, and other crap all mixed into one.

Like I said, the White House is where I always stay. Has a very good restaurant and bar. Has a bar on the rooftop and lounge seating on the rooftop overlooking the beach as well. Service has always been great and the rooms are large and pretty nice.

You should get a room at the Bay Towne Inn in BSL and hit the casinos sparingly. Take her to eat at the Sycamore House and she can take you to Whisky Prime. Plenty of casual spots for drinks and food, and great little stores to shop in.

ETA: The second Saturday of each month is the usually the best weekend to visit.

Last I heard the margaritaville was not doing well at all.

Should be able to get the place to yourself....literally.

Wouldnt be surprised if it closed up this year.

Last two times there I stayed next door at the Golden Nugget. Margaritaville was empty. I couldn't even understand how they were open.

If she wants to sit on the beach, you should drive another two hours to orange beach.

White house is literally across the street from the beach. I usually have my coffee on the roof and take in the view of the ocean/beach in the morning.

They also have a nice pool that is on the front side of the place that overlooks the beach as well. Im not sure how it is priced, because I just use points to book the place when I go.
