try conditioning it with some kind of moisturizing conditioner in the shower...if you ain't going in the woods that day, and you have an old lady that dyes her hair...ask her for some of the conditioner that comes in their hair dying kits...that stuff has oils in it to restore the moisture that they lose when applying all the chemicals...OR...get you some tea tree oil...don't use it everyday..but it does have a natural antifungal property that may help and it will moisturize as well.....I do not use any product in my hair anymore...just tea tree oil...cut

Sodium laurel sulfate is an aritificial ingredient in almost all shampoo that makes it seem ‘foamy.’ It also dries out hair and scalp. I didn’t know much about it until recently but now I avoid that stuff like the plague.

Use beard wash and beard oil or balm. I recommend making your own oil, it's much cheaper and you can tailor it to your preference. I use jojoba and sweet almond oil, with either sandalwood or cedarwood essential oils. Will probably try some new scents or combinations in the future.

I've never had a dandruff issue, but I shampoo and conditioner mine daily and comb it as well.

Cremo's products work for me. I condition every morning and use the beard oil about twice a week.

I had horrible beard dandruff for the longest. I get horrible razor burn, so I try my best to not shave. I tried EVERYTHING. Beard balm, beard shampoo, beard oil, beard conditioner, etc. I probably bought ten different products (no lie). I was to the point of giving up when I stumbled across a recommendation for pine tar soap. It was really cheap, so I figured what the hell, and gave it a shot. Do it! You won't regret it. It is literally the ONLY product I've found that works for me. Took about three days and I was completely clear. Now I use it on my beard and face with every shower. Give it a shot. I do use a beard oil after my showers about every 2nd or third day as well.
The link I sent is the 3 pack, but you can get just one to try it out, as well. Best of luck, I know it's frustrating to deal with. Smells similar to a campfire.
