Suck it bunny huggers. Appeals court overturned the lower courts stay. Start stringing the pipe boys and get to welding.

Only because the Appeals Court believed that the lower court abused it's power in granting the injunction. They said they should have just requested more information on the Corps' justification for issuing the permit.

FWIW, I don't have a problem with the pipeline. With as many as there are going through the basin already, complaining about this one is nonsense.

But it does sound as though the Corps issued a permit without going through the proper processes.

I'm pro pipeline, but these pipeline companies need to do a better job of cleaning up after themselves after installation.

Waters too high in the basin right now anyway and getting higher.....we probably won't re-mobilize until June.

Apparently, when they dig a trench, the spoil isn't really the responsibility of the installation or pipeline companies. There are way too many grey areas in the basin. I didn't really understand this until a recent trip to the basin. Like I said, I'm pro pipeline, but these companies aren't forced to really clean up after themselves. That's not cool.

Why another pipeline with so many already? Is this for oil or NG?

I think it's 24" the whole way from Lake Charles to St. James....this is what I've overheard.

I've been told that my company does, and will do, whatever the ACoE says is necessary.

I don't know all the in's and out's of the topic, but from what I've gathered, there are grey areas when it comes to jurisdiction and enforcement in the basin.
