my evidence is dating apps. pretty much every 5'9 girl and up says, yes height matters. Ive only dated one girl taller than me. Not by choice though, i love long sexy legs. But tall girls want tall guys.

This is accurate for me. I’m already used to being taller than everyone. Shorter guys never bothered me.

And a quick Google search about short girls preferring tall guys reveals a bunch of sources discussing it.

It’s not really a secret and it makes logical sense. Short girls branch swinging through the hypergamy world will find more value in a taller guy than a girl who is already tall.

I agree with those saying that women are the ones that don't usually want to date shorter guys. I'm 6'1" and when I was dating had average success with average height women. Then noticed I was doing great hitting on taller women. Like most women, they want a guy that's taller than them.

It's funny, here in south Louisiana I'm one of the tallest people most places I go. Yet on the OT, I'm probably the 3rd or 4th shortest guy. Amazing, right?!?!

Yes - I’ve known women with those expectations and they always ask me about my brother who is 6’3”

I think you’re off topic a bit though. Of course all girls want a taller guy.

But we’re talking about complexes. Maybe even shame and embarrassment.

Tall girls have less of an issue dating a shorter guy than short girls do.
