Reminds me of when locals on St Croix got that huge refinery to shut down on the island. Now they complain of lack of jobs and a crumbling local economy and infrastructure especially since the area was badly damaged in Hurricanes Irma/Maria
Maybe if they had the jobs and tax base created by the biggest refinery in the U.S. it wouldn’t be so bad

Ridiculous that the feds are allowed to stop a state from doing what it wants to help its citizens/economy.
