Who does quality, affordable watch repair in the Baton Rouge area? The watch is a vintage Hamilton.

They have a place just East of the old Bon Marche mall on Florida blvd. I think Kornmeyer's furniture used to be there. Not sure of the name but they do good work.

I trust Steve Andrews in Zachary and nobody else. I've had high end jewelry stores put the wrong stuff in watches in the past.

I would send it to Hamilton myself

If this is a watch that means anything to you, I would send it to the Hamilton Service Depot and have them work on it.

Hamilton now is not the same company. It was one of the last American watch makers. It's now owned by Swatch in Switzerland - who basically just bought the old name. While they make decent entry level Swiss movement (ETA) watches these days, I'm not sure how much expertise their company would have with the old American versions - or if they even take them in to repair.

Place on Government across from Post Office.
They have done work for me on some nice watches.
Super quick, dirt cheap and the repairs have held up perfectly.

I use Steve Andrews as well. He's very knowledgeable, worked for years in Switzerland for Omega.

i have taken every watch i've owned to kenny at "watch repair." I have a tag and just recently purchased another watch. He went through it and performed a service on it. about a year ago, he replaced the crown on my Tag and serviced it. He's legit. been in the game a long time.
