Baton Rouge residents...is S Sherwood Forest Blvd area safe?

First off, I'm not a regular poster but I do want to thank the OT for many laughs throughout the day as I tend to lurk here during work hours.
However, I'm from SWLA and am not terribly familiar with BR area given the current situation. My S/O is traveling to BR for a test next week, location is off of S Sherwood Forest Blvd. I am wondering if this is a safe area at the moment or do I need to take off of work to travel with her?

By dying down, they mean it's completely over. I've been all over the city today and there is zero sign of anything happening.

If it is near I-12 or North of I-12 it is sketchy.
If she is closer to Airline Hwy she is ok.
