Those beautiful horse farm with live oak owners have every right to cash in their investment and become multi millionaires.

Do explain..
First of all, I'm assuming this is "Greater" Baton Rouge it's in reference to. That's what my premise was built on.
The St George situation is such a phenomenonal opportunity first off. EBR was in a perennial state of out-migration in about the worst way imaginable. Talent, families, people making money, etc were all on their way to Ascension and Livingston at probably a 2:1 rate. This is the first development made to keep them in EBR in a generation.
Second off, the Parish punted on the worst mayor of my lifetime and it happened bipartisanally and heavily involving the support of both black and white people together.. Everybody knows we cannot be successful in a shitty town. Leadership was dropping the ball so the people spoke. And they did so together.

Would y’all please stop flocking to Florida?
Most of the people I know who live in South Florida have a plan to get out of Florida when they can. The people moving in are gonna get stuck “holding the bag” in the real estate world.
