Just found out my bother & sister in law just got there power back on in mandeville they live on a street (it’s not even a subdivision) has maybe 15 houses down it, 4 trees feel on there street took 85% of power poles and lines down, yet as of a hr ago they got power back on I am happy for them but frick man my neighborhood took no damage, but the transmission line on Brentwood and old Hammond got took out and until that is repaired no power for me fml
And to top it off Entergy just text me saying
Seriously 46% assessment done that’s it?

What part? Been waiting this out
They have to be on a Demco line or somewhere very close to Juban on Florida if it’s Entergy.
I think only one substation is energized in the Entergy network of Livingston Parish and it’s close to Juban/Florida.
There are good bit of substations in the BR/Gonzalez network that are down, which is slowing down feeder energization in some areas

Just ran by my house in Millbrook and drove down woodlandridge. No power. The sub is live. Transformer is buzzing and I didnt see any switches open so it might be something small like a fuse or something in the padmount. Idk wtf im talking about just a transmission southern grad but I got excited when I saw the transformer buzzing....so close

Burgess is up, too.
I’ll verify this in a bit. I was hoping we could energize Walker Road from a different sub and get that entire stretch on between Florida and 12; with the two supermarkets, 10+ restaurants and 4 gas stations.
I’ll check.

How fast would you like assessments done?

In coming up to 72 hrs I’d like 72% or better assessment

Again, if 46% is the entire footprint of Entergy? Given that they can even access close to 30% yet minimum, I’d say that’s pretty good.

Can’t tell on the additional Burgess/Florida loading in Walker. SCADA shows the same load as earlier but it could be inaccurate/not functioning properly.
I’ll know for sure tomorrow when I make a gas run at 5am.
Where the green/red meet on Burgess & Florida are open connections between feeders from different substations. If it is accurate on both, they could be lining up to energize Walker Road from Florida to 12.

They didn’t start assessments the night of the storm. They probably couldn’t start anything until late Monday.
