Baton Rouge OYO hotel shooting

Baton Rouge police officers said 38-year-old Raymond Veal, who lives at the OYO Hotel, is accused of shooting a 44-year-old victim in the head. Officers said the victim is in the hospital suffering with critical injuries.
Veal was booked for attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal use of a weapon.
Victim suffering critical injuries from gunshot wound to the head
Plus, a deadly shooting off of Plank Rd this afternoon. Another violent Wednesday, pacing at around 191 homicides for 2022 in BR.

Second deadly shooting of the day happened this evening on North Street.
So that brings it to 2 fatal shootings and 1 non fatal shooting, that we know of.

It very well could be three homicides for the day because it sounds like the victim of the Oyo motel shooting isn’t going to make it.

Amazing you have to wear a bulletproof vest to drive Airline @ I-12 now. I don't think that's the only murder there recently.
