I thought Mugsy’s was in the same shopping center as the Broadmoor Theater?
Broadmoor Theater was between Marilyn and Cora.
Mugsy's started out at Little John around 1992, then moved. It's still there, but now called Bayou Billiards at Sharp and Florida next door to Mr. G's Tavern.
Mugsy's was named after a great old time Baton Rouge snooker player, Mugsy Mullisivich. He was from Baton Rouge, but mostly traveled the country playing. He played all of the big names in billiards. He was also an extra in the movie The Hustler.

Lived in the area back behind there by Belaire High. We used to ride our bikes up there and play video games and ride the gocarts when we were like 12.

Mugsy's was at Sharp Road a few blocks away from Broadmoor theatre
The Glory days as kids! The Florida Blvd Corridor was "Flexing" back then; sad it's all a shell of it's former self now.
No more Circle Bowl
No more Fun Fair Park...Cortana Mall ; Slick Track ; Broadmoor theatre ; Putt putt Golf
Slick Track also had DJ playing music . Some good times and some not so good times.
Just Quarters across from Florida Blvd wasn't too far away either
