In a very similar way, if they guy in this video has no rap sheet, that would be a pertinent piece of info for me as well.
We agree on the relative relevance, but if he did have a CCR, we know at least that he has no felonies.

That's what you said. And that is not even close to what I said.
right
you added the part about the guy going for his gun (which we have no proof of)
other than that it is the exact same situation

Are you asking me or telling me? I've noticed you're not very good with using question marks, and it makes your posts' meanings kind of hard to get at.
If a cop tells me not to reach for anything, I'm not reaching for a license.

That is a pretty freaking huge difference

tough on this one without any evidence from the beginning.
I think they may have a case on the cop on this one.

It's like saying "you don't think its possible a killer could also be a liar?"

I used ? when I'm confused
I was confused as to why you were confused by me asking another question

right...its probably smart to not reach for a license, but if you do, do you believe the cop is entitled to kill you
that is the point of this discussion

How do you know the cop is telling the truth?? He'll say that cause he know he's frickED. That girl was calm, said "you told him to get his license... SIR",
She wasn't about to let his arse spin that shite. The cop was the one amped up as if he did something wrong.

f a cop tells you not to reach for a gun and you do anyway, you deserve whatever you get.
And what if a cop tells you not to reach for the gun, and then tells you to get your license in the very next breath?
You are trying to comply without question, you've informed him you are carrying, and you reach for the wallet and get shot....
We don't know, but if that narrative were true, it is very bad for the cop.

well its kinda irrelevant because it appears he wasn't going for his gun
it appears he was going for his license
the dispute is whether or not he was told to not move or to get his license

If the cop tells you not to reach for anything, especially after you just told him you have a gun, and you reach for "something" anyways then yes.

Ugh. That's almost as bad at the people that type out fifty dollars as 50$.

If he knows you have a gun, has told you not to reach for anything, and doesn't know what you're reaching for, yes I think he's allowed to protect himself. Why on earth would you think reaching in that situation is a good idea?

Or that he just shot a guy probably lethally. Pretty sure that would amp him out regardless of the intent.
