Posted this in home / garden board, but figured I would post here too for more traffic.

Closing on a house tomorrow, and the good sized shed has some crap in it the previous owners just left. Anybody got recs on a dumpster rental service in BR that I can get a small dumpster pretty quick?

Would it be cheaper just to throw it on a trailer and haul it to the dump?

Call Southern Roll Off in the morning. They’ll have one dropped by the afternoon.

I used them on my reno last year because they didn’t mess around with BS fees (per day charges, overweight, etc.). Flat fee for one month rental. No overages or add ons.

Well the mayor's office is technically rented until the next election, so I'd start there.

Agreed. I use them once a month or so. I like the one flat rate. Makes things easy. Good company.

I called one company to get a quote and it was insane how they structured the cost of the dumpster:

(Numbers are approximate based on my recollection)

$75 drop off fee
$150 rental for 3 days
$17 a day for days 4-20
$10 a day for days 21-30
$150 rental process restarts if you begin a new month
$75 pick up fee, pickup fee is waived if dropping off another dumpster
No charge for 2 tons or less
Each 1/2 ton is $45 up to 5 tons

Next quote was from Southern Rolloff and I gave him my CC# over the phone and had one in my driveway 3 hours later

Jesse at Southern Roll Off was reasonably priced compared to others around BR. I'm not sure how small of a dump he carries but I got a 30 yard dumpster from him a few times.
