well, he was dead for one thing so they couldn't ask him if he acted alone.
wouldn't you rather them chase down all leads (witnesses & otherwise) and be thorough rather than saying 'all's clear' and someone else got shot?

I remember hearing shots fired shots fired about 40 mins after the first shots were reported. Did anyone else hear that?

My point is that all of this searching was done well after the announcement that the lone person responsible was dead. They had decided, based on information available to them, that he acted alone.
They announced he acted alone. They then still kept searching. If you are unsure and need to keep searching don't say game over.

Many people. There were still shots that occurred a few hours after the lone wolf met his end. About 11:15-11:30 am, I think.

You make a good point. There is no shortage of video and eye witness accounts of what happened yesterday morning. They know what happened. They may not know why, but they know how.

I mean he got there somehow???? I doubt he stayed at the motel 6 and walked that far with that gun and nobody saw him.

I definitely heard that on the scanner. At that time I called a buddy that's with BRFD and we discussed it.

I'm hoping the 2pm presser give a few more details. There's a lot of unknowns right now.

Also, the cell phone records text, calls....tells the story of who he was talking with here in BR and who else came from the outside, if anybody did help him/another shooter,etc. Credit cards, unless he paid cash for everything. I would think even Motel 6 requires a credik/debik card , but I don't know.

They showed two cars on tow trucks late last night. One was a police unit and the other looked to be a small white car.
