See the link I posted. Your anecdotal evidence is proof that you are shielded from the realities of most of the country.
Those stats don't tell anything about real life interactions between people of both races. We've been painted a picture of anarchy and racial strife by every single outlet that get a word in. Of course people feel that way.

Those are 2 distinctively different points, and it obviously can't be both.

Your worldview is based on extremes. Somewhere in the middle, you'll find reality. People believe racial relations are worsening and feel it's a political problem. If you choose to continue to ignore, feel free to retreat to your bubble.

My point was clear. Read again
How does one rebut another's erroneous feelings on an issue?

Yep. It either exists or it doesn't.

I'm not sure who said "I think it's a tiny minority on both sides", but it wasn't me. My point is that the media has told so many people how to feel, that these people have lost touch with the reality that there is far more good in our country than bad and racial tensions aren't at some kind of breaking point, as they want everyone to believe (and now subsequently, people believe).

Hilarious that the guy in Alaska that spends every waking moment on the internet thinks I'm the one that lives in a bubble.

Racial strife is a manufactured political tool for power using the media as it's mouthpiece. Black people are being used as pawns for political power.
It's all coming to a head during the conventions.

Ah, that witty post count boom again. One day, you'll think of something original all by yourself.

Not trying to make some kind of "boom". Just pointing out your blatant hypocrisy.

Man just angrily kicked GMA crew off of Gavin Long family residence in KC. "Do I look like a bitch to you?" he shouted.

This sign has gone up on the Long family residence in the past hour

What hypocrisy?
I don't think you quite understand what a bubble is.

You live 4000 miles from Baton Rouge and I live 2 miles from where the cops were shot and you claim that I'm the one living in a bubble. I'd post the definition of hypocrisy for you if I was a pithy douche like you.

How do you categorize what has happened the last few weeks?
I don't even watch or read the news
I don't think the media is needed for America to know there is racial unrest. Anarchy is a strong word but let's not pretend that the events of the last few weeks happen often.

So, Baton Rouge is the only place with racial unrest...

Oh, I see. The 4000 mile comment was an accident.
There is racial tension in all parts of the country and it's growing. Mainly because political power junkies are using people as stepping stones.
It's a fact of life, you can ignore it if you choose which I highly recommend but don't think because someone lives in an area far removed from a multitude of ghetto culture that racist tensions don't exist.
We've had our own for decades with native culture.

Wait now. I said I won't fear going to work. And I would go anywhere in the city during the day. I said plank road after midnight is not a smart move for a white person. Sorry but it's true.

I have questions. Right after they announced he was a lone wolf, they raided a house on Marilyn, just north of Goodwood Blvd. Was this related? If so, why was it necessary if he was a lone wolf, killed about 5 hours before?
LEO helicoptors were flying around Broadmoor almost until dark. This was well after the Lone wolf bad guy was killed. What were they looking for?
Why were they saying 3 shooters up until the press conference? They were also searching the whole area, before and after the announcement. What gives?
