Because New Orleans and southern Louisiana have always been a peaceful safe haven

I actually thought Obama's speech was the first time he's actually been critical of these cops getting murdered. I will also say that he should have done this 2 weeks ago and this possibly could have been avoided.

Obama is a fake arse person that says A sometimes but is always doing B

Went to school with Matt. Really good guy. I had no idea he was one killed (I'm in Katy now). Wow prayers to his wife, 2 girls, and family. Prayers to the other officers families and my old BR community. Damn rest in peace.

Any update on the 4th officer? Heard that it's not good
Based on the little we know, his head shot had to be a bad one and if he makes it doesn't sound good for full recovery. That's not based on any info, just my take based on what we have heard.

CNN is going full court press on mental illness and cherry picking to back this narrative.
Not shocking. Wondered if they'd double down or pretend like it didn't happen.

I thought it was hypocritical; do as I say not as I do BS.
No single person has caused more harmful rhetoric than him.

Hate is a strong word. Maybe I should rephrase that.

if true... it may just end up being better (for his potential survival) leaving it in than trying to take it out

They found a membership card on him for the Washitaw Nation:
The Washitaw Nation, or Washitaw de Dugdahmoundyah, is a group of Black Americans that claim to be a sovereign Native American nation within the boundaries of the United States.[1] Their name is taken from that of the Ouachita tribe,[2] who are also eponymous of the Washita River and of Washita, Oklahoma. It is part of the Sovereign citizen movement, a movement that believes its members are not subject to any statutes or proceedings at the federal, state, or municipal levels.[3][4]

Seemed like they went after his torso wound first and that went ok. I'm just praying that the a-hole was shooting a .223 and not .308 and maybe the head shot was a secondary concern and didn't get in his skull.

Yup, those are the ones who straight up moved into some guy's house in New Orleans and claimed it as theirs because they believe black people were here before Indians
