This is ancient. You won't find anyone here that hasn't heard about this and has a relevant comment about it. It's a goddamn sports website, you think a major sports story slipped through the cracks?
While you're at it, why not give us your hot take about Denver winning the Super Bowl. There might be someone who hasn't read who won that one

If I quit my job because my boss wants me to scale back on how often I bring my kid to work does that make me a hero? No it makes me a prima donna.
It's more like you started a business with a business partner and you made 70 million bucks. There is the opportunity to make more, but your business partner wants you to leave your personal life at the door. Your having your family with you is very important, so you say to your partner, you can have the business, I'm happy with where I am and will take time with my family. You wouldn't call that business man a prima Donna. You'd call him a man who values his family more than a dollar. Someone who is not so greedy that they'd change how they like to be with their family in order to get a few MORE million. That's the way I look at this. Money isn't everything to some people if they are already more than comfortable. I'm not like that at all, but I can at least see how someone may be like that.

When something makes the news unless you catch it in the first cpl of minutes, then someone has already started a thread on it. Hell a lot of times someone e starts a thread on something before it's even on the news.
Yet you come here with a story that's a month old and think it hasn't been talked to death and then act like a total prick when someone calls you on it?
Get the sand out of your pussy and you go frick yourself, because you're the a-hole you insecure little twat.

If agree except it is reasonable to not want to neglect your family. I don't consider it to be reasonable to expect your employer to be 100% okay with your son hang out at the office and in the changing/shower area every single day.
He was asked to scale back, not to eliminate all-together so in this case the employer was being 100% reasonable.
This dude would hate having to work a "real" job.

Why do you feel it's necessary to volunteer your opinion if this topic is of no interest to you? fricking armchair discussion board moderator.

GFY and DIAF. I'll post if I want to.
Yes, this is germans as frick. Plus there's already a sport board for this sort of thing.
More downvotes for you.
ETA: And still no upvotes. Not one.

Again, I'm not saying it wasn't reasonable what the team did. I just don't think it's that unreasonable to do what he did either if that's truly what he wanted to do. If he just did it out of spite, as in "you aren't going to tell me what to do with my kid", then he's an idiot. If he did it because the 13million wasn't worth it to him to not spend time with his kid, I get that. If I had 70 million, you'd have to make shite really worth my while to do something I didn't want to do.

Oh go frick yourself!! Where is the rationale in you bitching about it being an old topic that shouldn't be brought up? I will start whatever fricking topic I choose to start because I have the right to do so. If you don't like it then you can take a fishing pole and shove it up your arse to the reel.

Once again, let me reiterate that you don't control my post activity. I don't give a flying frick about your down votes, and I will continue to post whatever I want unencumbered and unaffected by how you personally feel about it. Now take these words, swish them around in your mouth, gargle them, and then tell me how it tastes.

What if every employee brought their kids to work every single fricking day?
On another note, does the kid even go to school?
LaRoche taught his son a great lesson...when you don't get your way, just be a quitter.

Choke on a bag of dicks, you old news posting, shite head.
I heard Derek Jeter,Kobe Bryant, and just now, breaking news Peyton Manning are all planning to retire.
Wait, breaking news, Lance Armstrong cheated in the Tour de France. Oddly enough, France was occupied by Germany not long ago right after the Japs bombed Pearl Harbor.
Those are some other recent topics you might want to start threads on. You fricking idiot.
You're probably posting on a dialup modem using one of the AOL CDs you got in the mail today aren't you?
Gotta go, I heard they let a black guy named Jackie Robinson play MLB and I don't want to miss his debut.
Too bad your shitty thread got anchored, I'm sure some caveman that just thawed out would love to catch up on all the current events you have to share.

What I found really odd was this man insisting on having his child in a room with 25 men getting naked twice a day. The players have to put on jockstraps before the game and then they shower after the game.
And now they have to do this in front of female reporters and children.
As a news reporter in Atlanta said recently, a locker room is no place for children. At a minimum, they are "R" rated. And they are usually much worse.
