Nic Castrogiavanni's Big Train Bar?
Yes, that one! I think I randomly ended up watching Hudsucker Proxy with one of the Castrogiovannis one night. They were always nicer to me than they had any reason to be. Super cool people.

The Library had two incarnations. It was on the corner of Chimes and Highland in the late ‘60s/early ‘70s. Burned up due to Italian lightning strike. Anselmo bought The Keg and Library regulars moved in there for awhile until he reopened The Library on Chimes west of The Bayou in the late ‘70s.

I lived on the third floor of an old house converted to apartments on Maple and Adams my first year of law school, and I could see TJs from my balcony. I grew to despise everyone who went there, and I don’t think I ever went once while I lived there. It was fun in high school/early college.
But the copulating and urinating in my driveway and blocking my car in every damned Friday and Saturday nt (often into the next day) drove me into a get off my concrete lawn rage state.

Can't believe I haven't seen Nitecaps on the Strip in Lafayette mentioned.
All the other great bars there have been.
I think there's a path in the asphalt on the Strip that I wore down between Changes, the Loose Caboose, Nitecaps, and Shanahans...

AT2s was the best party.
I’m realizing that Hyde Park must have been a flash in the pan.

Wasn’t there a great bar in the Quarter on Royal Street, a couple blocks from Esplanade called Charlie Two or Charlie II?
