All of the hood apartment complexes in Dallas had one unit that was known as a "Candy Store".

They sold everything from candy to cigarettes to beer and liquor and no taxes were paid.

Served in JSA May97-98. Never will forget it. Went to the bridge several
times to do reenlistments.

I find the "Hermit Kingdom" fascinating. I've watched quite a few documentaries on it. Shane Smith's second trip was very entertaining (especially when he got the two guides to argue at the film museum).

I'm a novice traveler (just a few trips to Europe - outside of North America). To anyone that is a globe hopper, how does North Korea compare to Nigeria or Somalia - if you had to survive for six months?
