Disillusioned for sure. Both mentally ill isn't likely.

Real mental illness isn't something that can be hidden. Being social misfits or awkward or not falling in the bell curve of acceptable society is fixable with some work and acceptance.

People who act like The Office is the greatest thing in the world are mentally challenged - we already knew this.

He seemed to like Andy. Obviously he was mentally ill because Andy was by far the worst character in the main cast.

What..The..frick.

That note was absolutely insane. Very depressing and chilling to read. The worst part is is that I feel like his logic actually makes sense in a creepy kind of way. The kid was obviously very intelligent. But the analogy he made about the point of living is happiness, I can resonate with that. He supported that thought very well to the point where I can't necessarily disagree.
So then to his point that if you're unable to find happiness, then why should you care about living. Then his analogy bringing in if you were basically imprisoned and constantly being physically tortured all day everyday, you would quickly want to die. Like frick, it's obviously extremely fricked up, but I completely followed him logically.

Then the reason he decided to kill his immediate family. Again so fricked up and tragic yet again, but I understand his thought process. He knew his family loved him and his brother deeply. He knew their lives would be changed forever upon learning of their passing. He didn't want his family to have to deal with that pain, grief, and guilt about how they couldn't save them, and that's why he killed them as well.

The tidbit about the office was funny and relatable. But man, something that I can laugh off very easily, was the very thing that was the last straw for him in his life.

I need a drink after all that. This letter fricked with me.

From the tags at the bottom of the article:

quote:

FILED UNDER GUN CONTROL ,  GUNS ,  MURDER SUICIDE ,  TEXAS ,  4/6/21

Nothing about mental health, mental illness, depression, just guns and Texas. Leave it to the media to not focus on the real issues.

He mentions in the middle he told his roommate something and he'd say what it was later but I didn't see it. If he didn't expand on that frick this guy.
