This dog is sleeping in the corner of the room and he's made it smell like an absolute bucket of turds in here.

I had to make sure he didnt actually crap the floor because its so strong.

Anybody ever dealt with this or have a remedy? I swear this is up there with the foulest crap I've ever smelt in my life.

The dog needs its teeth deep cleaned. If you can’t do it you need to bring to a vet where they sedate them

Same thing happened with my dog today.

Legitimately thought she shite in the house.

The mint bones/dog treats seem to work well.

I've tried mixing the water in the past but he wont drink it. If they have to clean its teeth, I feel bad. Its like he has ate a bucket of turds and asked for seconds.

Probably has bad plaque build up. Dogs also eat a lot of nasty shite when we aren’t looking.

Safely expressing your dog’s anal glands is much easier than you think LINK

We pay for that to be done every grooming- internal and external by the vet. This isn't that.

This is like spoiled meat, poop and dirty baby diaper mixed.

Give him some fresh curly parsley once in a while. Great for humans as well.

He spent a night with CoyoteLSU.

It'll take a day or so for the smell of rotten sausage to dissipate.

My blue ticks breath smelled rotten and I found a root he bit through lodged between his upper teeth side to side. The vet had to extract it because it was too wedged in for me to remove it. Dog started eating again soon after.

Had a friend with a dog that had, IIRC, throat cancer. The dog's breath was horrific.

He might have an infection in one of his teeth. Go to vet. Antibiotics will help

My dog had this issue when her kidneys started to fail. It smelled like death. Also started drinking a ton of water.

You're right dogs and cats can experience chronic renal failure (CRF) which affects their breath. Unfortunately nothing can be done except adjust their diet.

As others have said, get the dog's teeth cleaned. It is also not uncommon that they have broken teeth that are decaying that are adding to the flavor.
