I'd love a Zac Bryan halftime show but I don't really see it happening.
I can easily see Chris Stapleton/Morgan Wallen/Lainey Wilson combo being a huge hit for NFL fans. Blow the roof off by throwing in an old school artist like George Straight or Brooks and Dunn for a song or two.

It's smart marketing.
Most of the people watching the Super Bowl for the actual game aren't usually watching the halftime show with any real interest.
People who don't watch NFL actually tune in for the halftime show. Without looking, I'm pretty sure viewership numbers increase during the period the halftime show is on versus for the actual game time itself.

a few years ago the NFL ran through a bunch of washed up Rock acts, and it backfired.
Most of those performances were terrible and didnt really garner any new fans.

They did a whole arse themed Disney halftime show as well as an Indiana Jones show. In 1992 it was Winter Olympics themed and they went full on ice skaters performing (Brian Boitano and Dorothy Hamil).
