With the large fenders and skirts, it almost appears to be floating, and made in 1937? This is exquisite.

For whatever reason, this seems like what the "One Piece at a Time" car always looked like in my mind. Sure, this one has equal numbers of headlights on left and right and no single tail fin, but this is definitely the chassis I've always pictured.

It looks like a custom body 1939 Delahaye Type 135 M like this one at the Peterson Museum in LA.
