Back pain since Wednesday which other than a hot soak, nothing has helped ... Advil, muscle relaxant, heating pad. MUCH worse when standing and its not like i can lay down all day. Hoping to get it checked out tomorrow if its not better but I don't get why it's worse when standing. Didn't do anything that I can recall to cause it.

Middle left side .. Am I going to die??

First. Yes. You are going to die. Second. The rest doesn't matter.

I've had back pain twice in my life, each time it was for 3 days, and I have no clue how people live with that shite. It is miserable!

Could also be a case of kidney stone?

Kidney stones I assumed were lower .. ?? And yeah I'm pretty miserable .. Had a family wedding last night and son confirmed today. Thought I was gonna keel over while cleaning the kitchen after our family left.

I'm actually in pt now for hip issues and knee. Mentioned it on Thursday to him and asked if anything that I'd done there could have triggered it. Will be there Tuesday and will have them check it out ... It had only been a day at the time. This sucks.

I hurt mine last week bringing the plants in. Hurts right above the tail bone and radiated out to the hip. Feels fine now but when it happened... holy crap. Thought I was going to have to call the ambulance.

Hard to believe it hurt so bad just a few days ago and feels fine now.

If I lay flat its much better ... And I can sit but it takes a long time to settle down. Work should be fun tomorrow.

Own the pain.

Man up.

Stop whining or we'll call you "Cooper" as in Winnie Cooper.

It is with you for life. Learn to deal with it. Usually you can look back 3 days after the initial pain hits and you will remember something you did to set it off. Invest in a whirlpool. Hydrocodone and warm jets of water are the best for my back. Also, move around as much as you can. It actually helps the back stay loose. Just don't do any heavy lifting or pulling or sudden movements. Good luck man. You will need it.

Sounds like SI joint dysfunction. Go see a chiropractor.

Chiropractor will fix you up. My first trip to a chiropractor was amazingly effective. I sidled in like a crab and walk out... After 3 weeks of twice a week, all was back to normal grab assing around with no issues.

I dread getting old. At my age, I know that whatever pain I get from sleeping wrong or whatever will go away in a few days at most. I'm told that once you're in your 40s, pain randomly shows up one day and more or less becomes life from that point on.

I can't remember life before chronic back pain. You get used to it.
