I’m seeing more of these Baby on Board stickers covering cars and they confuse me. What is any driver supposed to do differently because a baby is in the car?

Don’t honk because you’ll wake the baby?
Share congrats on the sex?
Try not to hit them even more than I’m already doing?
Expect them to drive slower?
Expect them to be distracted and more likely to hit me?
Don’t rob the car or you’re getting a kidnapping charge to go along with it?

Stickers are meaningless as far as I can tell. What say the OT?

Congrats on trying to avoid accidents, but most people, at least 75%, aren't paying attention to what they are doing.

lol. Probably won't help in Louisiana, but won't hurt either.

Some people become real cockrings behind the wheel. That is why.

The info could be used by a rescue team in the case of an accident

When I had an infant in the car and people were complete assholes when I didn’t risk my life to pull out in front of traffic to get out of their way, I understood why some people have them. Also, maybe so first responders know a baby is in the car.

I get what you’re saying. It doesn’t really change anything, but you asked. No I don’t have one.

Not true. This is the only sticker I have on the back glass of my truck and it sends a pretty clear message.

You're dumber than the idiots that bastardize the intent of those stickers.

It tells the fire department to crack that backdoor open first to save the baby.

I have a newborn…don’t have a sticker so I’m actually trying to understand if there is a meaningful reason for them to be on a car.

The heads up for emergency responders is the best rationale I’ve seen so far.

Same. I don’t have one but with kids I’ve really gotten a new appreciation for driving. More than anything, a car accident is probably the most likely event that could utterly shatter my existence.

I drove slow and careful now at all times. I can’t express how little I care for other people’s tardiness in where-ever they are going.

We had them. It’s good if there’s an emergency so crews can get to baby first.
