The rule of the thread is that the name will not be naturally truncated, as it should be.

1. no one understands the point of the thread but him

2. he thinks David can't be shortened to Dave

There is no rule for "naturally truncating" a name, you doofus. There are just common ones and ones that are made up.

I'll give you David. Poor example.

Derek, Scarlett, Charlotte and Eric would not be naturally truncated by many, if any.

Obviously you can't logically truncate a one syllable name.

Those are all more than two syllables.

no shite....hence my comment that any three or more syllable name can be truncated (staying on topic with the point of this retarded thread)

So you agree a good name does not have more than three syllables or you don't mind when people truncate names?

Sorry, I should have started another Uber thread.

Wrong, wrong and wrong.

Sorry, you've lost your own thread.

Like anybody named Cleopatra would allow herself to be addressed as "Cleo". Pure foolishness. My eyes bled from having to read that.

No, I disagree with everything you have written in this thread, whether it was on topic, off topic, or just plane stupid.
