Aviators are for people who fly airplanes and women.

How do you fly a woman?

I'm having a dilemma. I need a new pair of sunglasses, and I'm currently getting my pilot's license. Do I go all in with the aviator's???

RayBan or Randolph Engineering. A good set of sunglasses is a must while flying, IMO, especially small aircraft at lower altitudes. Non-polarized unless you’re flying big boy planes.

Generally the conversation goes like this:

Your girlfriend or literally any other female I feel like talking to: “Oh WOW, you’re a pilot?!?”

Me: “Yeah, you should let me take you up some time.”

Her: *drip*

Me: *Gives her the most disappointing 7 seconds of her life*

Dumb question, but why not polarized? I usually wear polarized. I'm just doing training in a 172 right now, but it does have a glass cockpit/g1000.

This. Unless you’re on a boat.

And you have to have the blue or green reflective lenses for full douche effect.

Polarized sunglasses reduce, and in many cases can completely eliminate glare from sunlight hitting the surface of another plane and seeing another plane’s relative movement. Being able to see that glare is one of the most helpful aspects of keeping visual separation from other aircraft in VFR conditions. Non-polarized sunglasses protect your eyes without altering what your eyes are processing. I know that many airline pilots like their polarized sunglasses, but I’d never wear a pair of polarized glasses while flying in a small plane at low altitudes and congested areas.
