A Korean restaurant based in Australia is being investigated after it served 86 shots to a table of just five people in the space of six hours.
Soju is a clear spirit with a typical strength of around 20% - though it can be as strong as 50%.
Two of the group - a man and a woman - were found passed out on the road and pavement outside the restaurant.
The woman had passed out in a pool of her own vomit and a man collapsed on the lying on the road nearby, who was moved to the pavement by road workers.

Averages out to 17 shots per person over a 6 hour period
So close to 3 shots an hour

Loved soju kettles in Korea. A sawed off 2 liter bottle for $2. Spend $10 and you were crawling home.

But for real, that much for that price is dangerous lol
Even if you dont die of alcohol poisoning, waking up naked in North Korea after a blackout would be a good "dangers of alcohol" jr high auditorium guest speaker subject.

What a pussy arse world we live in. Lets just blame the restaurant for some dumb cucks who can't handle their booze. Makes sense.

Fake Australians. Real Australians can handle their grog.

So they camped at a table for 6 hours? The nerve. I need to speak to the manager.

They should be able to. They are the descendants of British outlaws.

So? I polished off a bottle of Yellow Rose while Barbecuing.

The restaurant ensured they wouldn’t drive drunk. They deserve a medal.

Only two times in my life have I felt truly outgunned when drinking.
A baw from Australia, and old southern money from south Carolina.
Redemption came when we all stood up, but until that moment I felt like tyson fighting an infant

They didn´t want a horrible mishap and the corresponding liability claim.
They´re Korean.
They´re no dummies.
