LoDo is a cool area but I have spent limited time in both cities so can't really compare in detail

I know the traffic in Austin is horrendous

Denver

Austin if you in your 20s and need to "find yourself"

I hear you. Everyone's different. Just remember, most people never get the chance to spread their wings and get far away from the nest. I don't think you should pass it up.

Good advice on the OT is hard to come by

Easy. Particularly if you enjoy the outdoors and are active.

Don't know about traffic in Denver but if you do choose Austin make sure you live near downtown and hopefully that's where you work too you don't want to frick with their traffic.

I'm graduating next December and I'll be looking out in the Denver area as well. Seems to have a lot to offer.

Given the choice I'd probably take Denver and I live in Austin. If you've got a chance to move from the nest take it.

Denver is awesome, but I love the mountains and cold weather.

Can't go wrong with either really. You got some great job offers.

at your age you shouldn't have to worry about traffic, you should live/work/place all in the same area

traffic is for poor bastards like me that have to live 20 miles outside the city so their kids can have yards and good schools

If cost of living is a consideration, here's a comparison: LINK

But Austin also has no state income tax.

Denver is nice but I don't think I could take the cold and have no desire to shovel snow off my car. If you can handle that then Denver all the way

Definitely a big selling point for Denver

Another thing is I own a pitbull and they are banned in Denver. It was my ex's decision to get the dog so don't give me any grief. She was admittedly kind of trashy and I was skeptical about it at first but I love the hell out of that guy. It would break my heart to have to give him back to her.

Whatever you do, disregard Draconian Sanctions when it comes to Austin. Guy has no idea what he is doing, total amateur hour.

The dog was more or less her's but I swiped him the last time I left and knew we were going to break up. I feel bad about that still. I am not sure if just the dog should determine my future though. He would live a good life in P'ville with her.

Only gets really cold with arctic outbreaks. Dry, moderate snowfall, and avg. highs in Jan. are low 40's. Summers are awesome.

Back to Denver it is then!

You wouldn't have to worry about finding somewhere for him to stay or someone to look after him if you wanted to go on a weekend ski trip or somewhere else.
