Another instance of non compliance and resisting.

I truly believe they try this BS in hopes they will get a settlement.
The new welfare.

The only other reason is total stupidity.

You need to watch the video again. He says step out of the car and nothing more is said. He doesn't wait long to grab her and take her out by force. After they tussle for a few seconds, she says "don't touch me, I will get out of the car." In fact there is owww god moan before she says let get out.

The sequence was NOT: 1) get out of the car 2) let me get out of the car 3) he grabs her.

He was already physically removing her from the car.

Cop: "Put your feet back in your car so that I can close the door please."
Victim: "Could you please hurry up?"
Cop: "Okay ma'am, stand up for me, okay?"
Victim: quickly says "okay" (cop interrupts her; she hasn't moved to stand up yet)
Cop: No. (cop now quickly grabs the woman)
Victim: "No why are you touching me?"
Cop: "Get out of the car. Stop resisting"
Victim: "Oh my god" (while cop is saying stop resisting)
Cop: "Stop resisting"
Victim: "ahh i'm putting it back" (her foot back in??)
Cop: "Get out of the car" (slight scuffle)
Victim: "I'm getting out. Let me get out. Do not touch me."
Cop: calls for backup?
Victim: "Do not touch me.. i'm..." (cop cuts her off)
Cop: "Get out of the car now" -- slams the woman to the ground

Less than a single second passed between the cop telling her to get out of the car and him physically grabbing her.

The cop lost his temper and physically escalated the situation. It's plain as day to anyone who watches the video.

From "put your feet back in the car" to the officer grabbing her took 4-5 seconds. That's absurd.

Let me tell you about a Police Chief. They equal damage control. If you think for a second that Police Chief believes the bullshite he is dolling out then you are naive. I live in a family full of cops. Police Chief equals political position.

More baloney. Chiefs rarely throw cops under the bus. If anything, they cover and rationalize.

Also, there seems to be time missing between when he asks her to get back in the car, and when the video show him at her window...why not show the entire video?

That section was taken out where he ran her license plate over the radio

So she was speeding and tried to play off being pulled over, didn't follow commands, resisted arrest and she is surprised when she is met by force?

Teacher so college educated. I wonder which HBC she was brainwashed at?

No problem with the arrest nor the discussion in the squad car.

This is what happens when your mind is warped with liberal group think.

So bmy, what's your reasoning as to why he reacted the way he did?

so it's okay for the officer to be overly aggressive that's why he was disciplined, forced to take counseling for anger issues, and forced to take related training

Like I said, some right here know better.

0:38 officer finishes saying 'let me see your license'
0:42 officer says put your feet back in the car
0:45 officer again says put your feet back in the car
0:45 victim says 'could you please hurry up'
0:48 officer says 'could you stand up for me?'
0:48 victim says 'okay'
0:48 officer grabs victim

That's how fast this happened.

Why does he have to tell her twice to put her feet back in the car to close the door?

Y'all might want to alert the chief that he is wrong because the officer was disciplined.

This is where he went wrong. However, it's not like it came out of no where. It was his 6th request in the entire sequence of which she partially complied to one.

I am okay with the cop getting anger treatment. My brother said he went to counseling on his own because dealing with shitheads day in and day out is tough on your psyche. It wears on you and your temper gets thin.

You act like he shouldn't be cop then. What do you suggest? We get a bunch of type B LEOs that will entertain all her questions when all she is asked to is get in her damn car?

and because they determined that he did not follow his training/SOPs. they said that he is the one who needlessly escalated the situation.

come to terms with reality: the cop was in the wrong. i know thats really hard for police state supporters to admit.
