You could really get a good deal on a 2017 Escalade year end demo deal. Probably the same on all of the flagship SUVs.

Armada is very underwhelming
Audi is good but maintenance will crush you
Lexis is high quality and will last like a land cruiser....that said, look at a used sequoia

Your selection is pretty diverse. I’ve heard great things about q7 but it’s an Audi...enough said. Armada looks nice enough, basically same as Infiniti except cheaper. My wife has a ‘14 GX and we love it. It’s a lux old school body on frame SUV...not a silly crossover. Has a tremendous ride, decent pop up 3rd row and can get you anywhere if need be. It’s based off of The Prado Landcruiser which isn’t sold here stateside. I highly recommend but we buy vehicles that last a long time. It’s not the most tech laden vehicle like q7 or the fastest (has great small v8 though) but that wasn’t high on our list. Reliability, utility, and resale were on ours.

Appreciate any insight or suggestions.

My mother in law just got a Volvo XC90 and it is ridiculously nice. The tech in it is awesome. Would recommend giving it a look.

4Runner Limited. The only advantage the GX has over the 4Runner is the V8. If you don’t do much towing, the 4Runner will be more than adequate. Good luck.

4runners don’t have a V8 option? That sucks.

The Toyota is probably the one made in the US. My Tundra was made in Texas I think.

The previous generation did. My wife had an 06 Limited V8. She has a 14 Limited now. The new v6 is about the same on paper but I would choose the v8 if it was an option. Thought about the Lexus but wasn’t worth the extra money for our needs. I also think the new 4Runner looks nicer than the GX.
Edit to add that 4Runners are still made in Japan.

4Runner should have a V8 option. Not sure if Toyota still makes that 4.7. But the 4.6 from the base Tundra would probably be perfect. 310 hp.

Well I already recommended a loaded out minivan but no one seems interested in a Sienna.

As much as I hate to admit it. The Honda Odyssey Touring was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Remote door openers w young kids are tGOAT

My wife drives an Odyssey. We used to have a Sienna. I’m tall and Toyota stuff fits me better but she prefers the Honda. Either way, they’re more practical than any of those SUVs for carting around kids and no one is impressed by an SUV anyway. It’s a status symbol no one else cares about.
