Hah you must not have spent a lot of time Guatemala City if you think that shithole had any resemblance to the USA in the 50's, or anywhere outside of where I bet the wedding was, Antigua or one of those towns by that lake a few hours outside of the capital. That place makes the Chicago Ghetto look like a safe place to

Oh I believe you were there, you were just probably in one of the two small towns, one Antigua protected by the army and the other panajachel protected by the drug lords because that's where all h stupid hipsters from the USA go buy drugs and get high, that are free of crime. Everywhere else is a shite hole.
